Proud to announce our new home with Erlang Solutions

Chad DePue wrote this on August 05, 2014 under erlang, inaka, solutions .

Inaka and Erlang Solutions

When Martina and I started Inaka, we wanted to build a place that felt like a family, and a company that emphasized empathy, responsibility, and hard work, combined with a focus on the right technologies. I met ESL's founder, Francesco Cesarini, in 2009, and immediately felt he had the same goals - both in terms of the wonderful community he has helped build around Erlang/OTP, and in the amazing company he has created in Erlang Solutions.

For a long time now, Francesco and I have explored how we could work more closely together. Inaka has a focus on focus on high-performance end-to-end applications, with our iOS, Android and Ruby experience. And when an app requires messaging, linear scalability, and rock-solid best-practices, we turn to Erlang. Because of the two companies' shared technology, it was a natural fit to combine forces.

Things remain the same at Inaka, under Martina Freers' incredible leadership. Because of her amazing job running the day-to-day at Inaka, she's being officially promoted to the role she's been doing for more than a year as Inaka Labs SRL's CEO. Fernando Benavides remains as Inaka's CTO. And, I will continue to be involved as Founder and Director, providing support and guidance as needed, and Inaka is hiring at every position!

I feel incredibly proud of our team and I'm excited for this next chapter!

The official press release is here.
